Our mission statement is: “To Engage. To Educate. To Empower”. Our vision is to provide a unique collaborative space for the members of the community to learn, work and play. We value people, relationships, and opportunity.
MISSION
To Engage. We want to bring people together to work, learn and play. We provide a space that encourages positive interactions between members of the community so that they can network, help each other, be more involved and make the neighborhood a more attractive place to live.
To Educate. We want to shift the way people feel about learning. Too often learning can be seen as a burden or difficult task. Especially in a low-income community. We ignite the flame to make learning hot. Mastering knowledge can be financially rewarding across many levels. Educating the community on financial literacy and entrepreneurship is vital to their future. Providing consistent structure for our youth to excel academically is crucial. When you combine the two, you uplift households substantially.
To Empower. We provide a motivating environment and life changing information that inspires the community to strive for bigger goals. Often times people do not take advantage of opportunities because they are unaware of what opportunity looks like. Or, they simply do not have like-minded people around to encourage them to dream big and work hard. We motivate the people.
VISON
Our vision is to create a space that provides the community with the opportunity to grow financially, mentally, and spiritually. We want our members to be inspired and motivated to focus on personal and professional growth, while creating meaningful relationships along the way.
VALUES
At NWBC, we value understanding, structure, and the willingness to learn. NWBC understands that not everyone is the same. We value the individuality of each person and what they bring to the table. We value partnerships and believe that networking and developing relationships are pillars for success. As an organization, we strive to be the pillars for members of the community and provide them with the structure and foundational knowledge to achieve their financial and professional goals.
